My recent obsession has been with tufted ottomans, especially used as a coffee table. I love the look they portray, that you can just kick your feet up and relax. It gives a room that different twist than your traditional glass, metal or wooden coffee tables. Brightly colored ottomans can give that much needed "pop" to a neutral colored space. I love pairing them with a lovely decorative tray on top with some of you favorite accessories; fresh flowers and a few books are an easy way to perfect this look.
This one is my absolute favorite!
I love this look so much that I wanted to create my own space using a brightly colored tufted ottoman for a coffee table. I made this set, Granny Smith Apples, a few days ago on Polyvore. I decided to use a gray, black and white color scheme and use the candy apple green for that "pop" of color. It definitely ties the whole room together and creates an edgy modern feel. I love it, I wish this room was in my house!
What do you guys think of having a tufted ottoman as a coffee table? Do any of you have one?
